buzzzzzzzz

I was in downtown LA on Friday. I was struck by the wonderful colors in the garment district and the sign advertising the LA County Museum. I used buzz water color stack and then a layer above that set to linear burn that I painted back in the colors lost in the watercolor stack. I also increased the saturation.

Can you?

Can you use a 3rd party plug in for an action? I have never tried it. I could write a sweet little action if it allows that.

Cricket,
Love the colors and the way it all falls togeather. Makes me think of some of the old movie posters.

Cricket:

As a former L.A. resident, I appreciated this one perhaps more than others not having had the opportunity (challenge?) of living in this area.

RE: Using plugins in actions
Depending on the plugin, some permit uninterrupted execution via an action; others invoke the plugin dialog no matter what.

Cases in point:
* Buzz: You get the dialog, even if a preset (stack) was specified when the action was recorded. As long as you don't mind having to click OK, it's doable.
* Virtual painter: Once the steps are recorded into the action, the action can run uninterrupted.

RE: Hollywood Bowl action
It generates some interesting colors, but doesn't simplfy like Buzz does.
