Wow, this brings back some memories from awhile ago.

Steve -- I really like your selective color.

I thought I'd try it again with new eyes, and here's what I have:
Overlay layer with Artistic:Cutout
Flatten
Duplicate layers
FMPE: Blur Water (slightly adjusted) to bottom layer
DCSpecial Outliner4 to top layer (Multiply)
Duplicate top layer
Flatten
FMPE: Blur Water (adjusted, again)

Such a pretty picture! Did a water color wash in Painter and added texture.

With apologies to those not into the impressionists, I'll add this to the impressive efforts by all on this picture.

Gertrudis

Large scratch brush over all picture area.
small oil brush to emphasize some details.

PSP X - small adjustments.
