M.F. Watercolor
M.F. Watercolor half way thru to create sketch. Levels to increase contrast.
Dragged onto first Watercolor, changed to Overlay 45%. Flattened.
Dragged flattened image onto Sharpened TLR image. Changed blend mode to Soft Light and lowered opacity.
Erased back some details like the urn.

Wish I was there with you!

Nice effect you got, here.

re:
* TLR?
* M.F.?

I dunno what these mean. Maybe that's because it's 3 a.m., ya think?

TLR - The Lights Right. A sharpening tool kit thoughtfully provided for free from this website.

M.F. - Mike Finn. Thought you'd get that one Danny!

BTW, on another post, I unfortunatly used the short form for Filters Unlimited Version 2 that I have been using quite a bit. I hope no one was offended.

Cheers

Dave

Mike (from http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~mikefinn/action.html) and Mitch (from www.TheLightsRight.com) craft some great actions.

Thx for the wakeup call, and the FU V transation, too.

jaykita - the watercolour feeling fits it just great

playing...

Playing with Danny's Imp. Settings.

First Layer used his Charcoal: Long Strokes (K)
Second layer used his Chalk: Soft Detail Pastel Rain
Third used his Marker: Detail Medium, Faded to Darken.
Then used his Paint: Dry Brush Scrappy.
Ran Custom Filter. Faded loer opacity.
And added texture, with a layer mask to simulate thicker areas of paint.
