Thanks Danny--I got that from dpreview where someone had used it on a floral shot (it's great on flowers). Did you get new filters for xmas? The mosaic gave a nice finish on the cat's fur.

I got DS1 and DS2 almost two years ago. Just getting around to playing around with them. Danny)

Lucis, diffuse aniso, Flaming pear zephyr.
Love the way the eyes came out with this very quick one.

Re: Creative interpretations: Cat Closeup

I think this photo is brilliant, i have seen that facial expression so many times, we call it the "dont even think of it face " In fact when i showed my hubby the photo he thought it was our cat ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Palms

ps I have included a b&w version mainly because i think it has changed from being a domestic cat to a wild cat look

Cheryl... Excellent smudge!

Palms, great stuff.

I'm allergic to cats, but appreciate their renown mistique. They DO have an attitude.

Used the liquify tool to reshape the eyes and push the fur around. Added some Craquelure. History brush with some hue and spatter jitters. Went back in and lightly definde some of the facial structure lines.
