Oooh, another really nice image!

I ran MS Impressionist with my "Painter" variant. Next, I ran buZZ simplifer 1 over the top of that. Did some horizontal diffusion on the sky using Richard Rosenmann's diffuse filter, then repeated the impressionist & buZZ steps.

First image post - be kind.
Duplicated layer and ran Levels adjustment to even out image.
Imported "Driving" sign to new layer. Adjusted scale and perspective and set layer mode to Color Burn.
Added new sky layer and adjusted with Hue/ saturation layer.
Merged visible - Gaussian Blur 0.5 to smooth edges and blends.
Filter Stylize/Diffuse/Anisotropic to give image a brittle/bleached effect. Reminded me of farm equipment I played on as a child, it would crumble and snap easily.

PSP8.....

Adjusted the color balance, contrast, and saturation. Ran the Xero Moonlight filter set to default. Applied edge preserving smooth and brushstrokes. Duped the BG and applied texture - canvas filter with blend set to overlay. Reduced opacity to taste.

I like the blend of color and strong strokes. Even in the destorted stokes the details are still there.


Paris - Love the added sighn - the overall softness to the image is pleasing. Great job.

Catina - this just screams paint me! and your painting is wonderful. I like the subtle color changes you made.

I created a new layer desaturated, used curves, duplicated the layer then find edges. New layer and used the history brush to bring in color, boosted the sat up. Then new layer with fiber texture low opacity.

Glad you took the plunge. Love this kind of creativity. The application of the "bumper sticker" looks very natural texture- and orientation-wise. Well done.

This particular image seems to have brought out the best in everyone. The range of styles is amazing. My definition of "Photo-Art" is anything that if you framed it and had up for sale, that someone would buy it. Today if I had a digital art store, I'd have every one of you guys exhibited.

I'm still amazed at what you can do by pulling Finn's actions apart and redoing. All I did here was go to Watercolors, but ran the action from Dust & Scratches. Went back and ran complete Watercolors then Levels at at 142.1.0.255.
