| Since the sun isn't shining here today I thought and I would take Danny's challenge at the beginning of this thread!
I followed Trimoon's watercolor tutorial with a few of my own modifications. |

I followed Trimoon's watercolor tutorial with a few of my own modifications. | I've always liked Trimoon's method. Applying your own touches to it definitely worked on this one.
May the sun start shining soon. Until it does, keep on making lovely creations like this one.

I just moved from the south to the Pacific Northwest and I'm having a hard time adjusting to not seeing the sun.
On the bright side, the weather has kept me inside playing with pixels! |

Beautiful paintings, everyone! I did this using Art History and PS Watercolor on a stucco texture. |

Can't recall the last time I did a butterfly picture, had fun with it in Painter (i.e. Impasto).

| | | steve,
i've looked at all the other renditions here, but yours is the first one that i felt i was in the air, over the butterfly, looking down on it. very clever piece!

I like the combination painting effect and photo combo and have been experimenting with it on a few things.

| | | Butterfly I lost track of what I was doing here between multiple snapshots and deciding what I liked best. Sorry I can't re-step the process. I eventually got frustrated with what I was attempting and decided to go with what I had.

Despite your frustration, I like what you came up with anyway, Tyler. Keep on creating!
