Red is a WARNING color!

She looks very, very "dangerous" to me...

Gave her the appropriate coloring in nature to warn oncomers, and then added a luminosity mask over her face in a more natural skin tone -- but there's still a hint to the wary that there's something dangerous hidden beneath...

Of course, some of the men may think I have "dangerous" mixed up with "exciting".

Ok this one is a little off the cuff....

Too complicated to explain in this thread, however i will be putting together a layer by layer montage very soon and putting it on my PBase gallery for all that are interested.

Will keep you posted

Axleuk, this image certainly is bringing out a wide variation of renditions, and you have created a very intriguing, mesmerizing version. Looking forward to hearing how you did it.

I started working with her again, and didn't plan it, but ended up putting her in the shower -- don't think she's going to be alone in there for long....

Typically I haven't been very interested in the "high key" portrait postings as they seem too me still "just" photographs. (Before I get skewered... Many of them are also exceptionally beautiful and certainly there's room for them here. They just don't resonate with my own sense of "photo art".) Your latest post, especially the first image, masterfully combine 'not a photo' art with a lovely high key effect. Well done, Dave.

Thanks for jumping in, Dennis. Based on a quick surf of your website, may I say you're wonderfully talented.

Welcome aboard. Hope you'll have time to share some of your drawing / sketching / painting techniques in the future.

I think I've had one or two goes at this in the past. Amazing eyes. Thought I'd keep it simple this time, rotating and cropping and putting the eyes and mouth in thirds. Working with a low res, it gets a bit chunky. Oh well. Big eyes like my daughter Sara. Sara..Bara..get it? I don't. Then again, maybe I do! I must! I thought of it didn't I? Oh boy..good night all.
