News: Virtual Painter 4 new version announced

In addition to four new filters and an interface that allows considerably more control than Virtual Painter 3, there are three packaging options (including a standalone offering) available depending on your needs/interests.

discount to be applied to the purchase of any of the new Virtual Painter
4 versions -- the Plug-In, the Standalone or the Deluxe versions of both
Download and CD-ROM version (there's no differences between download and
CD-ROM version, take any version you like).

In other words, the Upgrade cost to VP4 is the normal price minus $30.
For example, if you upgrade to the VP4 Plug-in Download version, the
actual upgrade cost would be $25 ($55 - $30), a 55% saving!

How to take advantage of this special upgrade pricing?
1. Go to www.vpainter.com
2. Add any version of VP4 to the Cart and proceed to Checkout
3. Enter "jascupgrade" (without the quotations) into the Coupon and
Discount Number field in the customer detail page. This coupon code will
deduct $30 from the total price.

In response to Amy message, I wanted to let everyone know that there is an upgrade offer from the prior version of Virtual Painter (VP3) to the newly released Virtual Painter 4.

A proof of ownership is however requested.... This can be either the email confirming the purchase received from Jasc or any Jasc distributor, or the email address used to purchase VP3, or the name used for the purchase.

Please, contact info@vpainter.com to get the latest information regarding the procedure -- the coupon mentioned by Amy doesn't work anymore.

Note also that at this time Virtual Painter 4 is not available from Jasc Software. At this time, the upgrade is only available from www.vpainter.com.

P&A America is the company taking care of Virtual Painter 4 (via www.vpainter.com).

Jasc Software, our partner, will soon be selling the Plug-In version of Virtual Painter 4.

I don't know why the upgrade offer I posted wouldn't work. They just sent it to me today.

The VP filters seem to have be refined and I do like them better. I especially like them because I am into abstracts. For instance, remember the mini challenge pic of "Mountain Man?" Just a regular photo.

Here's what I got with Fauvist. Not fooled around with-straight out of the box.

I'm having a lot of fun with VP4. I did a piece with nudes, which I won't put up here, that I absolutely love. xero illustrator to clean up the old photo, then VP.

I got the VP4 upgrade last night. (The company insists that you email a receipt from an "authorized seller" before they will email you the password.)The improved interface is worth the $25, and the new filters are fun to play with. Here' a link to a flower pic I did using the new "embroidery" filter.
