Here's a version using two layers of different intensity woodcuts. Some grain added as well. I had tried a sketch in Painter but had trouble under the front of the train with not enough detail. I did like the Painter sketch function, however, which I tried in my failed first attempt. It gives quite a clean edge with good control. One of the best I've found.

I could lie and say I did it all by hand, but Akvis it is. Plus some contrast manipulation, and a masking layer.

it's hard for me to get out of the "apply impressionist filters until it looks too jumbled, and then back it off a bit" mentality....
