You guys that use Paint Shop Pro, what do you think of X2? I have a chance to upgrade from PSP8 for a pretty good price, but don't know if I should.

definitely upgrade, shari. if you had 9, 10, or 11, i'd say it's up to you, but anything before 9, upgrade.

Re: Creative interpretations: Tiger resting

i just really like this picture. so, here's another, this time from a new filter forge filter i'm about finished making. this image helped me make a few final adjustments to the filter. then, off to Paint Shop Pro for a little post work.

it's not a typical look, but i sort of like it.

Re: Creative interpretations: Tiger resting

I was determined to keep track of what I did on this picture, but somewhere in the middle.... I do know that I duped the original a couple of times, then ran Xero's lineart filter and merged layers, then I tried out a watercolor tut. Then I lost track, fiddled with color, and heavens knows what else. Finally I added a mask and some texture.
