Oh, how I miss the autumn colors of Ontario. As beautiful as Vancouver Island is, it doesn't have the cold snappy temperatures to turn the colors vibrant. I was surprised how turning up the Unmask Sharp changed the fence from red (color picker) to blue.

Unmask Sharp: 200/50/0
Impressionist: djrOIL24 image 25/45/104 (will I ever use another style?)
Xero: Seasons (makes sense) -37/78/-25/211
Noise: Add 20%
Fade: 39%
Stylize: Diffuse: Anisotropic
OOps. I hiccuped and did it again.

Cheers
Dave

Everyone has done nice work on this one (hard not to with such a gorgeous starting pic)

Fluff and Cat--I particularly like the combinations of blur/smudge and detail you two used.

Nice pic. To bad it's so pixilated. Is that a real word?

Hi!

Very nice photo :-)
Here is my play, made with a new algorithm I'm currently working on.

All the best,

David

Re: Creative interpretations: Fall Path

OK, I gave it the old college try. However, I did it in Painter XI using an Oil Pastel brush with a touch of the Impressionist brush in the trees and grassy areas.

Hey! I like the looks of that already........just enough brush to make it a nice painting and just little enough to retain necessary detail.........good stuff!

Re: Creative interpretations: Fall Path

Thank you Steve. I'm still tweaking the algorithm and then it will be time to optimise (it's too slow at the moment for me to release it).
