Palms, could you explain the difference between the AHB and the history brush?

Thanks,
Fran
In my own way yes (but not the technical way )

you know what the art history brush does

the History brush brings back the original image ( so to speak) the history state

so by using the history brush at a reduced opacity you can bring back original details on your actual image or as i do on a new layer so that you have more options that way

but both of these brushes work on the history state that you started with so if you say resize the image they will either not work or be in the wrong place

i know i have not made that, that clear but hope you might be able to understand my logic

Thanks, Palms. I'll try using the history brush as well as the AHB.

Another experiment that I call smudge on black velvet. Not 100% happy with my flow, but will hopefully come up with a good balance soon.
