| | | Creative interpretations: The Look of Love Two very nice photos by Antione. Thought you might like both pics for something different.
Have fun.

| | | I like this one. I combined an impressionist version of the negative of the original with the original with Paint Engine bloom. Then added a "dream" soft focus.

| | | My try Ok, all happened in Photoshop. Let's see: VP watercolor plugin, Photoshop paint daubs, texturize filter, erasing edges - that's all. It's a beautiful image to begin with. |

| | Couple - selection, copy, paste as new top layer. Cloned colors into couple. Multiply blend. Played around with adjustments - like replacing colors, and contrast. Texture - grain. Cut off lower portion (sea section ) of top layer. Merge. I think i'll send this as a greeting card to a friend! |

| | | Love Call I isolated the couple, which wasn't hard considering. I found a nice sunrise. I made sure that both pictures were the exact same size. Went to Image>Apply Image. Settings used were: Source - Sunrise; Layer - Couple (on a transparent background); RGB; Target - Sunrise; Blend - soft light; Opacity - 100%; Mask - Sunrise; Background - layer; Gray; Invert
For the second one: I changed the blend mode to linear light at 85% opacity. |

| | | Lovers This pic was fun to work with. I wanted a surreal/dreamy/almost not there quality available with blending modes and colorize. I hope I succeeded. |

| | Taking a brief break from Painter. In Elements2...
A: BG
B: copy BG. Add Noise. ColorPencil
C: copy B. Glowing Edges. (PinLight 100%)
D: copy C. PaintDaubs. Crystallize. (PinLight 100%)
E: copy C. (Screen 100%)
Added layermasks to C & D. Mostly to keep the 'crystals' off the silhouettes and their outline.
Hue/Sat, Curves, & Levels (this one mask w/ the silhouettes) to enhance things.
As for greeting cards, I'd rather have a Jaykita than a Hallmark.

-Mark | The noise + Colored Pencil + Glowing Edges + Paintdaubs + Crystallize filter combo plus the silhouetting absolutely rocks, Mark! |

| | | Thanks for your enthusiastic support for this one, Danny. I should have worked to make it a bit "cleaner". Maybe I'll update it.
While I was posting this (and personally feeling not very satisfied with the result), I had a new inspiration for this image. Using the "wood cutout" look inverted and applied to stone, (the mask was ready made) I crafted a mounting ring and turned it into jewelry with the help of a chain from Google image search.
While still a bit rough (just my style - aka lazyness), I like this result more than the first. Others may resonate differently...

| | | Yours Forever... Creative results, pleasant to view, thank you!
Selected the profiles, copied and pasted as new selection.
Eye Candy/Glow Effect - Orange.
Merged layers.
Added a sunburst/yellow between the couple.
Impressionist/One of Fluffbutt's settings ?
Added a mask.
Placed on new bg - added Same Impressionist setting.
Erased some of the mask around the edges.
Merged all. |

| Great work SW, nice to see you take a break from Painter.
If i may just offer one bit of advice with regards to google images, and thats to be careful as people have often not given their permission for their work to be used by third parties. Whilst in most cases there would not be a problem, it is always nice to seek permission first. Maybe you already have asked for permission, but i just though i would remind everyone. |
