Mark as all good artists you add doubt, but its not needed that is lovely, i can imagine you sitting at the easel with your paints next to you taking in the sunshine doing the painting...

Found this lovely old castle and thought it nice to have a play with...great photo Xaran...some interesting renditions done previously...

Really just played with filters...Niks color effects,lucis Art and Xero..Oh and used an action in photoshop CS2 for the frame...

I love everyone's work! And I am SO jealous of the painted looking ones! Jaykita, I seriously think if I were to touch my computer screen I could FEEL it!

Here is my go at it. No paint treatments, just mood-ifying the image. lol

I wasnt exactly sure where I wanted to go at first, so I just played. Ended up making some selective adjustments to the sky and castle with curves and levels, colorized for the sepia, and added a black to clear gradient at the top and bottom set to overlay.

Played around with kyoto colour again with blendmodes and crosshatch

Love all these castles on here of late , I'll have to find one of Conisbrough castle I have, just 5 minutes down the road, (funny how you never think of things near to you) Bob and Dave, Sorry for pinching your terrific renditions.....just a quickie, I couldn't help myself......a bit of something for Lancalot to get his teeth into
