Wet Oil Clone Brush? must check and see if I have that with Painter 8. Very smooth result, works well on this image Axle. Do you enjoy Painter?

What i like most about Painter is the fact that you can take an image and and have so much fun and feel like you have actually recreated something.

There is so much to learn, but i have picked the Wet Oil Clone Brush as that starting point as is gives good results very quickly, and of course is very enjoyable.

This is one of many times I don't smell like a rose..

Duped background twice.
First dupe: Invert: Luminosity 100% . Moved slightly to off register.
Second dupe: Overlay 60%

Ran pOpArTisT old version
Ran pOpArTisT adjustment to it's default. No further adjustments.

Cheers
Dave

Here's one that's just a wee bit different. I thought part of the rose looked like a head scarf, hence..

Cheers

Axle, i like your wet oil cloning. Very much like a real oil painting! Here's a huge for Corel Painter! I love it too.
Dave, your 2nd image does look like the rose was made from a peice of silk fabric. Very Nice!

Duv, even if you don't smell like a rose, your image sure does! This turned on great. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Jaykita and Mark! You didn't mention it but I assume you noticed the face in the rose.

Cheers
Dave

I know what you mean. My wife frequently asks, "Why do you mess with such pretty pictures." An now, before I can answer, she answers her own question: "I know, I know. Because you can."

Hi Danny,

Here's my quick attempt at this rose.

I just went over it a few times with the Clouds filter and the Gradient tool.

Hope you like it.

Regards

Con
