Hard Rock

I wanted a feeling of movement in this one, but it got sorta wild as I played with layers, blending modes, and filters:
motion blur
gaussian blur
Toadies Last Word
FraxFlame
noise
extrude
drop shadow
texture
nik midnight blue

Way Cool, Raniday. What a wonderful piece of bold abstraction. And despite the black, I find it to be quite cheery.

Yes, indeed. You definitely lit up the sky on that creation.

The multi-layer/offset/shadowing is especially effective.

WOW Raniday, your contribution is amazing. Not that this is a "I can do better that you" type forum (thankfully), but I can't think of anything to try that wouldn't pale next you your masterpiece. I'm awestruck!

Maybe I better head back to PhotoArt 101...

-Mark

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Danny & Mark. Nobody ever accused my style of being understated. I've become a total PhotoShop addict, and for me it's usually all about the color. Thank God for forums such as this one, where I've learned so much and keep finding inspiration from talented folks like yourselves who've been at this longer than I have.
