Re: Creative Interpretations: Train for Danny

Thanks palms. Nice painting effect pavel. How do you like Painter X?
One more using Painter and PSCS2. In PS I used some of my Trimoon WC presets for some overlays.

Cathy, thank you. I' have a demo version. It doesn't seem that Painter X is that much different from IX. Three new types of brushes added: real bristle, smart stroke and art pen. For most of the brushes in these groups I can usually find a similar brush in the "older" brush series available in Painter IX. Usually I do not read manuals and go by "trial and error", so I suppose there could be something I missed.

Looks like some great restoration was done on this fine old steam locomotive.

Re: Creative Interpretations: Train for Danny

Nice mood piece Craig, and I like your paint technique Steve.

Pavel, I am also using the demo and I really like the way the brushes are working in this version, and I love the new underpainting and auto-painting features. I don't know yet if I will upgrade though.

Re: Creative Interpretations: Train for Danny

I didn't get to underpainting yet, I think Painter IX has autopainting, as far as I can tell it works in similarly in both versions.
