Here's mine. I used Photoshop Elements for this one. I did an Auto Levels adjustment and then a Hue/Saturation adjustmant layer. I played with different settings until I chose the one that I liked the best. (I like Granny Smith apples ) I played with the Impressionist brush, and then applied a glass filter. Then I used the Smudge tool to blend some more. I think I may have rearranged some layers at some point, too. Loved everyone's work as usual.

Looks like the apples from our tree; these are wonderful renditions. Here's my try
Used ErickN's watercolor action. Turned up the saturation a bit and used a watercolor texture instead of the action texture.
Used a medium size oil brush from WOW collection.

Nice renditions all.

I just eroded the edges and then used Impressionist Paint Small Daubs, with a small brush and canvas texture.
