merge photos together

Can someone help me merge these photos together. I can't seem to match the noise in the other photo (girl). I want to make it look like we took the picture together. Please submit your merge photos and how you did it. I'm using photoshop 7. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kewl,

Haven't had time to have a play to speak of, but if you look at each pic under image->image size, 1 photo is 72dpi and the other is displaying at 180dpi, so in theory, by downsampling the 180dpi to 72dpi, it should be easier to merge them. Not quite sure exactly how you want to merge them though

Just played around with this quickly.

Mainly I just did a selection and set the photo over and next to the other one. Tried painting in the background from the man's picture. Not good at this, so it needs a little work to say the least. There are a lot of folks here who can really make it nice. And maybe they can do it for you in Photoshop.

If you use Photoshop I can't help with any specific details.

Maybe this will give you a very rough idea.

Steve

Here's my quick jab at it.

I'm running short on time right now, but I'll note the steps taken later if you wish.

Cheers,

Frank

Here's one with a slightly larger head. Feedback?

not really sure, but i think there may be a scale issue here too. her head seems quite small compared to his.

Nice work Frank! I also figured out the difficulty in merging the two pictures since they have different resolution. One pic was taken by a mobile phone and the other by a digital camera. I tried lowering the resolution of the photo taken by the digital camera but it got pretty ugly when I tried to add noise. Thank you guys.
