Hi All, I have 2 questions that deal with resizing images. 1. I want to resize some files for clients. When I use image processor (IP) and fit image (FI), I get the dimensions I want BUT IP leaves the resolution @ 240 and FI bumps it to 300. Is there an automated way to make the resolution 72? 2. Let's say I have a few images I want to resize. How do I resize one image and make the rest of the images the same size [and distance away from each other] without doing it manually? Antwan

Re: Resizing Hi Antwan - Welcome to RetouchPRO !! You are not using Photoshop I take it ? If somehow you can use it, there are many ways that you an do what you are asking. One of them is by using actions (you create it) and usually if you select the image as RGB the resolution is 72dpi by default. Check on the newly created library of links to tutorials. A work by Kraellin  Regards -

Re: Resizing antwan, welcome to RP. i'm not familiar with IP or the other. are these programs or parts of a program? you might want to try IrfanView. it's free and can probably do what it is you're trying to do. it sounds like a batch processing resizing thing and i'm fairly sure irfanview can do that. and i'm also curious why you want to make them 72 dpi resolutions. some reason for that? and thanks, marthig

Re: Resizing Marthig, Yes, I have PS, PSCS2 to be exact. I'll take a look at the tutorials. Kraelin, I want to res it down to 72 because 9 times out of 10, they send the images to friends and family via email. So I don't want to give them a 300 res file and they try and email it. Thanks for the welcome, both of you. Antwan

Re: Resizing Hi, Kraelin, I figured it out. I need to use 'save for web' option in PS. So I will use this in my action. (Sometimes when you don't use a PS feature for a while, you forget abput it). Antwan
