How to make smoke?

MY try i make the one in the left whit a set of smoking brushes i have and the other one i have donet my self this is my try

Hi

make black background
new layer
single column marquee tool
stroke 3pxs white now U have (pict 1)
duplicate layer motion blur 180 dgr am 100
dupe layer till it apears
switch off backgr and layer1 and merge visibles
perspective transform (pict2)
dupe layer and perspectivetransform till it's like (pict3)
now U can blur a bit and now use Twirl and shear filters as U want
dupe layer and use twirl and shear same values different sign (+/-)
transform it flip horizontal it depends on U
at last get layer1 twirl the white line and motion blur it 90 dgr am 80

U can use the spatter filter liquify on layers to make the smoke more random

at last Morpheus found Neo

I used Difference Clouds in a new layer and then messed around with liquify. Then I copied that smoke layer and inverted it (2 layers of smoke). Then I just used layer masks and opacity to blend. Could probably have blended a bit better than I had, but I'm hungry now.
