| | | Total Lunar Eclipse I really didn't know where to put this so if its in the wrong place, please let me know. This was my first attempt at taking photographs in the dark. It is a total lunar eclipse taken in Columbus Ohio on August 28, 2007. I captured an image every 2 1/2 minutes and combined 26 images into an animated GIF using Adobe ImageReady. I thought it came out neat so just wanted to share. http://oosterbaan.us/LunarEclipse/20...Eclipse-LR.gif
If you would like a copy, just right click on the image and do a "Save Picture As". The file is 836KB

| | | Re: Total Lunar Eclipse Cassidy - The images were taken manually every 2 1/2 minute with a Nikon D80 and 135mm lens. I used shutter priority and had to adjust the shutter speed for almost shot. The shutter speeds ranged from an initial 1/400th for the first shot to 3 sec. for the last shot. I took 26 shots and used Adobe ImageReady to assemble the animated GIF. I had done nothing like this before. I guess that's what made it fun. |

| | | Re: Total Lunar Eclipse Super, duwayne! I got tired just taking some shots during the total part of the eclipse, but you had to work thru the whole eclipse. You can be proud of the time and energy you put into this -- very cool! |
