Talking Combining Two images

Hello all, I'm trying to combine two images to get a final product that looks similar to the attached image. I have a shot of a model and a shot of a dark sky and want to combine the two so it looks as natural as possible. If anyone can lead me in the right direction or if anyone out there is in the Los Angeles area and would like to teach me the technique for cash payment I would be appreciative. thanks b

Re: Combining Two images

You need to make a selection of the model then copy/paste or drag into the sky image. With both images open, you may want to also do a "match color" on the model to lend it the tones and ambiance of the sky image before or after you move the model over.

Re: Combining Two images

Hi

Theres no way you can apply that method to a model with normal hair
try erasing inbetween hairstrands...

For the body you use the path tool (with a feather radius of maybe 1 pixel when you do the mask or cut out) - for the hair either channels or the extract tool(or you can use Knockout 2, the plugin).

No small task my friend. My guess is, Youll have to look at atleast a couple of tutorials to have the fortune to apply it excactly to your two images...

But hey - good luck!
