Image Composite Tutorials

Hey I’ve been looking around for a while now, and I can’t seem to find any good tutorials on compositing images. So im asking, has anyone come across some useful tutorials on how to composite? I’d appreciate it if you share them here...

I'm about 85 percent sure I've seen some on Lynda.com. Maybe in Chris Orwig's Creative photography techniques. I know I to would like to see more. Just remembered! Jim DiVitale at SoftwareCinema.

Deke McClellan has some tutes, but I can't remember where I saw them. Lynda.com maybe?

Compositing involves so many techniques that asking for single tutorial is like asking to explain the universe in one sentence. Extraction, masking, color matching, dealing with fringing, light sources, shadows, blending modes, proportions, and on and on.

Get "how to cheat in photoshop" it's a nice book, not to achieve professional results, but for some quick learning and easy results, it's pretty much unbeatable.

DJ, as Swampy stated, there are many techniques involved. I haven't done any tutorials but I do offer some guidance, animated examples of some of my work on my blog. Some people have enjoyed it so you may pick something up that helps.

Katrin Eismann's book "Photoshop Masking & Compositing" is a must read in my opinion. She covers the subject thoroughly, nuts to bolts.

I'll second that. That should be step one! Also, not a big fan of Scott Kelby but his book "The Photoshop channels book is a must.
