Help!

Hi! I need your help! I have this picture:
http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/2143/img0629nq2.jpg. It's a tube i have photographed. I want it to distort so that it becomes the shape of a sinus curve, like this: http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/6748/sinusnl7.jpg

Does somebody have an idea? I tried it with the warp tool, and liqfuify...but it doesn't work, as i have supposed...

Please help me, it's very important for me! If somebody know another forum, specialized in photo composings, please tell me, thanks!

this took about 5 minutes.

just extracted the bar, put it to new layer, used distort/wave on it. next copied a portion of the gray texture underneath the bar and pasted it to a new layer and just moved it on top of the straight bar.

i'm sure there are other ways to go about it.

I would add some liquify manipulation to it, for some size uniformity.

I also used distort/wave. sine/number of generators 1/wavelength min 514 max 514/amplitude min 1 max 267/ scale horiz % 55 vert% 64/ repeat edge pixels. I tried to lessen the buldge on the bends with the warp tool.(edit/transform/warp).
