I am trying to do this tutorial.... I want to learn to to do a light source, and then a reflected glow from that source. http://www.photoshopessentials.com/p...ght/page-4.php I have hit a snag on page 4 of the tutorial, re step 6. The author says that having done filter>render>lighting effects (Light flashlight/Type Omni) on a duplicate layer - producing a nice little circle of light - I should be able to copy it further on the same layer (to make the 'reflected glow') He says you need to click on alt on the keyboard and drag. I have tried doing this on the layer itself, and by doing filter>render>lighting effects, and doing it on the screen that comes up there, but nothing happens, in either case. I'd be most grateful for some help I use Photoshop CS2.

Re: Problems copying a light in lighting effects Hi Canna W, While you are in lighting effects, hold alt and drag from the center of the omni/flashlight. You will see the lightbulb icon as you drag. Ray

Re: Problems copying a light in lighting effects Duh! I am such a nit Ray! I followed your instructions and this time attempted to copy the light before I pressed OK, not after..... It worked. Many thanks.
