Hi All,

Just thought I’d upload this example to kick-off my posting career and get some conversation going. I’ve got plenty of other examples if anyone is interested in this type of thing. Any feedback, questions or comments are welcome.

From what I can see, the composed is very well masked at current size. Looks real to me.

The only comment I have for you is about the family picture... the kids look good but the moms teeth are... bad (ugly).

Excellent composite. The overall effect is a tad flat for my taste. I would add a slight S-Curve for just a little more contrast. Otherwise, well done.

Thanks for the comments igot2pman, to be honest I hadn't really noticed the teeth, they do look real bad at such low-res. The print res version looks a lot better... honestly I did the 'montage' bit in something of a rush. I'm not 100% sure the BW used in the comp was the actual final.

And Swampy, thanks for the tip. This particular project is done and dusted but I promise to make it punchy next time.

How can that left light ever have a reflection in the photo if it hangs right next to it?

Great composite, though Anneke has a point with the reflection of the left light. Although, it could be said that light is on the wall opposite the picture.

As EJA suggested It's meant to be a reflection of a third lamp fixed on the pilar/wall on the left - out of sight from our perspective. A bit of creative license on my part to be honest. Tried it with and without and it just looked a little better with the extra reflection added.

Perhaps there's a light source, such as a window, directing light in and creates that reflection?
