Just my two cents, I like it. I wouldn't change it at all. If you viewed a lit aquarium from a dark room, it would not be unreasonable to view it without a reflection. That's what this looks like to me. As far as it being uninteresting, I would not describe it as such, although I would say that it is quite serene. Nicely done.
