Not really sure where I was going with this but here's my attempt. Not happy with the sugar cube handle but wasn't quite sure how to best do this. Hints and tips would be much appreciated.
The sugar cube and drop are from SXC and the heat vapour was a brush I have from somewhere.

On the handle i would of tried masking ( or erased but there is no come back then ) the ends at a angle and maybe bringing the handle forward a bit more, these are only ideas that i would of tried .

Thanks Janet and thanks for the tip Palms. Next time i might just mask off the cup handle and use that separatley with the sugar cube texture overlayed. It might look a little bit more realistic then. Hopefully.

LOL, Believe it or not this started out with the "B" cup in mind,,, then just evolved when I couldn't make it come out right!

I had a go to improve the handle on the sugar cube cup.
I used another cup from SXC and cut the handle off, placed it in position, use a copy of the sugar cube over the top and used that as a clipping mask on the new handle to get the shape. Then using the dodge and burn tools put in the shading to give it more definition.
I definitely think it looks better than the first attempt but i'm sure there's still a lot more that could be done.
Onto something different for now...
