Here's my go. It's taken me an embarrassing number of false starts to even get this far.

Happy Holidays. If you don't like that greeting, then click on the card.

Re: Christmas cards

Last year's card. Made from photo of myself on Santa's knee and my husband holding an Easter basket. Combined the photos and changed the basket to a package then made a sketch and colorized it. Last, turned the dog to a sketch, added a photo background and the wording.
This year, I'm completely without a clue as to what kind of card to make.

Re: Christmas cards

Happy Holidays everyone. I just had to try that star path, what fun. Needs redone, seem to have lost some inner glow along the way LOL. Well while it is not really post card worthy the message is sincere. Palms I love your idea of putting those all on your card. No need to put mine on, I was just goofing around since I loved those tutorials. Never enough hours in the day for all the play I'd like to do!

Re: Christmas cards

Thanks Palms. Everyone's cards are really nice, I am trying to get back to the tutorials and maybe try something again but either the site or my provider is having problems. Oh well it will have to wait for another day.

Re: Christmas cards

Palms -- thanks for the idea and the great opportunity to wish happy thoughts for our fellow forum members. It's great to have a place to share our love of image manipulation. I tried a few tutorials, but need lots of practice.

My card only offers a wish for Happy Holidays, but I hope for even more -- Peace on Earth, good health and comfortable wealth, and time and opportunity to work with digital images.

Pepper the cat just wanted everyone to see her...

Thank you! The filmstrip is a blank .psd and I added my own pics, then duplicated and reversed the strip using a fade out effect for the "reflection". I then merged the strips as a single object and skewed it to make is appear the strip was bending.

Another card made everything. Moon and trees are brushes, the rest hand drawn.
