Maggie Taylor - surreal

and now for something completely different.

Maggie Taylor.

She's part Monty Python and part I-don't-know-what with an incredible imagination.

Heh, if it wasn't for the cloud of SMOKE from that volcano, I would be there in a heart beat.......lucky you

(to the law enforcement in my area, in case you are reading this: smoke is a photoshop filter that adds enormous creativity to the subject matter)

What's the question, please? And for the record, manipulation and use of multiple negatives to form a single image began some considerable time ago. Look up O. G. Rejlander.

Re: Maggie Taylor - surreal

I love Maggie Taylor along with her equally amazing husband, the photographer Jerry Uelsmann. Seeing her work early on in my digital imaging experience really changed my expectations as to what can be created digital from scratch (and pushed me to further explore what could be captured from a scanner, since most of her images and objects are scanned).

John Nack from the Adobe Lightroom podcast did a wonderful interview with her and Jerry. It can still be found online, if you have a chance I would recommend listening to it. Podcast #26
