here is a tut if wanted
and there are plenty more out there

also i have zipped my psd files ( they are small ) and added to my blog if anyone would like to use them

Of course you're right Palms. I didn't use your tut though (just too set in my ways; lol). So many wonderful ways to skin a cat. Click each of the individual baubles if you like (all PNG with transparent backgrounds).

Thanks Palms. I had already created this one a few months ago waiting to post to the Bauble threads, but complete forgot about it (til now). I started a thread at DPR's Retouch forum too (usually I start right after Thanksgiving, but completely forgot about it til now; it's the 4th one that I started at DPR). Just fussin' tonight. There's a zillion other things that need doing, but here I sit. Seriously, it was a mental break instead of a breakdown.
Anyhow, just three variations on a theme...two using Pear's India Ink and one layered with ice covered branches.
