| what is the best way to replace a background, with textures? should I make a selection first? and how do I erase texture from areas such as the skin and facial areas? any help apreciated. cs3/ trying to learn. snapshot53 |

| Re: replacing background with textures There are a great many ways to approach the task but a lot depends on the image, the BG, and what the texture is like. It would be best if you attached a sample image for members to provide you with specific suggestions. Regards, Murray |

| Re: replacing background with textures Another way of removing the texture is to use gaussian blur that way you keep the tones and colours of the texture ( make a selection of where you don't want the texture ) Palms |
