Talking adding moonbeams to photo and background

Hello I have a fantasy background that has moonbeams coming down
on a terrace and would like to place my subject on the terrace?
how do I adjust so the moon beam will also shine on her.

the background is flat. Thanks in advance

Difficult to say without looking at the images. Why not post both here - I am sure you will get some help.

You can do this manually in Photoshop by drawing paths, filling with color, blurring, etc. or use third-party plug-ins designed specifically for this (such as Mystical Lighting).

Re: adding moonbeams to photo and background

Easier to say if we had an example. Without seeing it though I would use levels or curves to brighten the image -> black layer mask -> paint in where you want the effect using beam brushes or free hand. then season the mask to taste.

Again it would be easier if we had an example.
