| help with masking please I would like to use an old photo folder mat as an overlay mat for new photos. How would I remove the existing photo ( see sample ) and leave the space empty so that I can slide it over an existing image. I did it once but cannot remember what steps I took. Thanks in advance Alewek |

| Re: help with masking please -make sure this not a backgrounnd layer - use rectangular selection tool and select the image portion inside border that you want to delete - keyboard delete/backspace which will clear selection area to transparent - put desired new image on Layer below and it will show through the transparent area of the layer above Hope this helps |
