Extending floor tiles

This is a composite of one of my cosplayers, Morikyou, dresses as Lunafrey.

I am after comments in general but I would particularly like to know any techniques to extend a tiled floor. If you look, you will see the tiles under the cosplayer don't quite line up. These were added separately as the horizontal line on the background meant it stopped at about her waist.
