Image on a round Xmas Ornament

Hi all.

Down to the wire on designing our own Christmas cards. We'd really like to have an image of our children displayed on a round chrome ornament as a reflection.

Tried Filter > Sphere but still need some tips or a better way to pull this off.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
As far as the ornament, John Balza wrote nice Tutorial on how to make a chrome sphere.

Chrome Sphere .

You would bring the children as a layer onto the sphere and make the nec. adjustments like trying out different blending modes, resizing, masking and so on. It might be a good idea to post the image to get more specific advice on how to achieve this.

Hopefully this will get you started on the ornament at least.

3d

A 3D program will do this. Select both objects, then click map image, there you go. With Adobe Dimensions create the sphere, set shadows, apply chrome overlay, map the image to the sphere. Nothing beats 3D software from packaging design to skys the limit. Have fun.
