This is some great stuff! thanks alot guys! im alot closer to making it look like what you guys have done! and thats brilliant considering i didnt have a clue before

We here is version. I'm not very happy with it. To remove the color cast I went to color balance. Then i basically tried and i do mean tried to color the skin back by creating a new blank layer and setting layer to color. I never can do the skin. Anyway here it is.

try image->hue/saturation, maybe +18/+10/+2 and then adjust with levels?
