Dust Removal Software

For anyone here who is interested I have produced a program for the removal of dust from digital images. The software (Imageduster Pro) is available for download and evaluation from :

www.phototeknik.com/imageduster

The software was specifically designed to remove dust from Digital SLR images where dust gets on the sensor - but I subsequently altered it to work with scanned images.

Please Enjoy

Clive

Clive, will this work with scanned images that have a layer of fine dust all thoughout, or only for more obvious dust particles?

Almost all of my scanned images have a layer of "silt" it looks like even though I clean my scanner glass well and dust off the photos.

Maureeno - the software should work with fine dust down to about 5-8 pixels in rough diameter. Try it and play with the sensitivity sliders to get the best results.
