| My little tradition: Halloween Portraits Hey! It's that time of year again! Since Halloween is my favorite holiday, a few years ago, I decided to make it a tradition that every October, I'd fix me up some scary pics!
That way, not only do you get the fun of wearing several 'digital costumes' each Halloween, you can look back at each year's past to see how you've come along as a Photoshopper.
It's truly amazing how fast each year flies by. It really is nice encouragement to see the RESULT of a years worth of 'stickin with it'.
The first picture is me as a vampire-type ghoul. Sorces of inspiration included:
-elongated bottom jaw as seen in "Van Helsing"
-one raised brow and one unraised inspired by Disney's "Haunted Manion" ride
-inspired by the opening scene from "Night of the Living Dead" was the fact that a fiendish creature would be out and about in the daylight hours. That's a hardcore ghoul!
Second pic is a parody, of sorts. It's my face in place of Marilyn Manson's face on the cover of his "Smells Like Children" album. If you have time, Google search the album cover to see what was being mocked. (mocked in a good way :-))
I have a few others, but I will spare you the graphic gore :-)
Let me know how y'all like!
Happy Halloween!!!!
