Does anyone have a technique, whereby you can take a picture of a group of people and change it into and outline that just has the peoples shapes so names can be attached to them?

We could do with an example to help you better. But have you tried ‘Threshold’ or ‘Find Edges’ or ‘Glowing Edges’.

You could try creating a path with the pen tool and then stroking it also.. time consuming but it would work
