thanks bart.

i would also suggest to anyone trying this that they put a background on their label. you very rarely see just text printed on a bottle without a background and it DOES make a difference in how you do this.

and bart, eye candy 4000 demo for the 2nd one. (the cheat is that you cant save the results of this filter normally.)

Final Image

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say a big thank-you to everyone who helped out on this job.
Believe it or not, I do this for a living! However, the spritz thing always had me stumped until now. Client seems really pleased with the final job.
Part of it is attached. Couldn't have done it without all your help.

I'll be popping in and out of this forum for now on and will try to help out where ever I can. Once again, thanks for your help.

Tony.

P.S. In case anyone is interested, check out my portfolio on my website;

Hey Tony how did you do it?

Very nice job. I was just wondering what technique you did to put the label under the spritz.

I used a simplified version of Bart's earlier explanantion.
I also made a greyscale selection of the spritz which I overlaid over the
top of the label after playing around with the levels to bring out sharper
hightlights of the spritz.
I finished by adding details for distortion by selecting the original label and
using liquify to suggest the spritz water distortion.

Tony.
