I would like to thank everybody for the help with the watch mender.
Here is my second task for the family album, I would like you help and suggestions to get this one better so that i can attempt my own repairs on it.
All your help would be much appreciated.

Well I started with a levels adjustment layer. After that another levels adjustment layer using the gradient tool to mask out the darker bottom half of the picture. After that some healing brush and then neat image.

Hi there

I just spent a few minutes as well. Lots of damage in this picture. I did a little work on the sky, building, the man and car. Removed as much damage with adjustment and selective color layers . Then just started adding back colors and blending.

It will take time but I think you can restore much of the picture but you will need to replace parts maybe use a brick pattern on the building and shingles on the roof that type of thing.

Just had about 20 min to work on this scince I am at work at the moment

This is what I got so far. Just evened out the colors on the car a bit and began rebuilding the face.
