So Much Information

HI..Im G..I am new here..and new to forums as well..Anyway I have a couple of questions...I am trying to create a photo/negative/document archival and organizational business and eventually add restoration as well..my questions are as follows
A) what is the best printer I've heard alot about several Epsons
B) I just purchased a Nikon Coolscan 4000 for negative scanning did I make a good choice on that one...based on what I've read I thought is was a good choice but if there is something better I'd like to know as eventually I will like to get a very high quality
C)Flat Bed scanners...high resolution...prints at least 11x14...but I can live with 8x10 also...but have no idea
D)SOftware programs...I've read that photoshop may be the best with adware of AKVIS
E) any other suggestions thanks everyone I look forward to learning alot here

F)I'm old fashioned and haven't moved myself into digital photography yet so I have a ton of negatives and slides I need to digitize...

I've been considering a Nikon Coolscan...are you pleased with the results? I have many slides and film negatives and I've wondered if the Coolscan is worth the investment.
