Re: Operation Photo Rescue (A Doozy)

interesting that you mentioned a veil. at one point i was also considering this but decided there just wasnt enough evidence, mostly based on what i could make out of her dress. it just didnt seem formal enough with the collar. but, i certainly couldnt say you were wrong either

i'm also curious if anyone else noticed the 'other person' in the picture.

i did a little more on this just to get some better contrast and color. i also ran it through psp's 'time machine' for the frame and final look.

Re: Operation Photo Rescue (A Doozy)

well, it's hard to actually call it a figure. but, there is a blotch of black to the left of the girl that somewhat looked like the outline of hair. there were no other details i could discern, so if there was another person in the picture, it's lost. but it did catch my eye and i wondered.

That would be one of those things that Dave at OPR would have left special instructions on if it would have been of value. I think we both agree that in doing restoration you don't want to borrow trouble. Lots of the attemps on this picture on Retouch, have added things... that would be "no no" LOL but the primary work and conversations have been gold.

Oops... running out of time have to watch my grandson today!! We have a new coloring book you know!! Hugz!!

yes, it didnt seem possible to do anything with it. and, it was probably not even of someone; probably just an anomaly, like finding a potato chip that looks like jay leno in profile

have fun with the grandson
