How to remove greenish and dark spots on face

I got a tough one here. Can someone please instruct me on how to remove those ugly stains and fix both of their faces.

I used the clone tool, healing brush and did some painting to remove the green. Blended the skin tone using degrunge (See tutorial on this site.) I am a novice at this and I would wait until one of the experts gives their suggestions as to the best way to resolve your problem.

Used Replace colour to reduce green
Nearly forgot, very small degrunge to man's face/forehead
Levels adjustment
Curves->dropped back blue curve

Very Small Image to work with.

Convert the image to LAB. Apply a Gaussian blur, about 10 strength, to the a and b channels.

I tried Ken F's retouch suggestion and what a positive difference it made. My first post is on the left and following Ken's suggestions is on the right. Learning this technique was really helpful. Thanks Ken.

Hi Gerald

The Green marks can be painted out on a layer set to colour. However what concerned me the most was her right shoulder. It just doesn’t look right. I can see that you have painted over her dress but maybe you have painted over his clothes as well.
Was the picture damaged?
Maybe if you post the original we could help you better.

My picture is not good. But I think her shoulder looks more in proportion.

I thank everyone for their help and information on how to remove the greenish, white, and dark spots from this photo. Cameraken, the restoring of the neck, sweater, and shoulder were very good. I thank every one of you.
