Re: make up whats missing???

Hi jamminlady,

Welcome to the forums. Now a couple of tools you can try(if you are using photoshop) the tool is called the clone stamp tool. *this tool will only work if it has something to reference too. It will not recreate new stuff, it basically takes what is already there and extends it. You need to watch the repetitive nature, and try and make it look as random as possible. You can also use the patch tool, this tool takes your selection and then you can use it and place it somewhere new.
I hope that this helps!

Justin A.

Re: make up whats missing???

jamminlady,

if you can, post an image, or part of an image that needs what you're referring to. much easier to help that way.

Re: make up whats missing???

I do not believe there are currently any programs available that do this. I'll keep an eye out for you, though.

Re: make up whats missing???

if you have lets say a right arm, you can take a section of it, turn it over and use it as a left arm. Make the selction large enough so you can erase with a soft brush what you dont need. same with a face, but it is harder to do that. But i have use it for parts of the face. you can also use the warp option to push selected bits into shape.

Artificial Backgrounds

Well there are several ways to fill in gaps. Photoshop can make a variety of backgrounds of any color using various options like Render/clouds etc. In the Mac world there are several programs that can be used like Artmatic Voyager (www.uisoftware.com), Artmatic Pro. Also Bryce and numerous other applications. The first photo I've enclosed I made in Photoshop; the second from Artmatic Voyager. Finally you can Google Images and type in something your looking for and you will get 100's of images similar to what you need.
