Need Help with this Image

If anyone can help me restore the color in this image I would really appreciate it. I have worked on it to no avail.

Thanks
Ken

Re: Need Help with this Image

This is not the greatest job, but as an amateur, this is the best I could do.

-Duplicated the layer and set the blend mode to multiply
-tried a veriety of things to correct the sky color and finally settled on selecting the area and then desaturated. Went to Hue and Saturation and put in the blue. There was still a little greenish cast at the edges which is visible in the original. Using healing brush took it out. The picture looked a little fuzzy so ran it through a third party filter called Focus Magic.

Hopefully, someone will post a professional retouching solution that addresses your needs.

After posting I happened to look at the bottom of the picture and saw the brown band in addition to brown specs on the bride's dress. Took that stuff out.

Took this to LAB mode

Levels adjustments

Back to RGB and a Hue/Sat to move the skin tones from yellow to more red.

KK...

I had trashed the file above so went back and redid it, but the process is the same even though the "by-the-numbers" may be different. Sometimes it's just a matter of playing with the sliders till you get something managable. Here's my work flow for this:

Crop - Noise reduction
Convert to LAB - Levels Adjustment
Lightness: 22, 1.00, 255
A: 99, 1.29, 179
B: 106, 1.0, 149
Convert back to RGB - Levels Adjustment
Yellows: Skin Tone -22, -3, 0
Cyans: Lower dress shadow 0, -89, 0
Blue: Sky -15, 0, 0
Greens: Lower dress area 0, -67, +26
Curves Adjustment
RGB: 66/55

My version of your photo..
Lots of masking and cleaning and coloring on the couple and sky.. but left everything else alone..
