Removing "pattern" from the photo

I started restoring my family photos.

I am currently restoring pictures from the photo album around 70s.

In the photo album, the dust cover (plastic) has made certain patterns to the images.

Please see an attachment to see it.

This pattern is going everywhere, also in peoples face. What you'd suggest me to do? I want to get rid off the pattern and keep the details.

Is this something what needs 3rd party plugin?

I think I will be asking more questions as I am making progress

Re: Removing "pattern" from the photo

There have been a number of discussions about moire patterns and paper patterns. You may want to search the forums on the word "moire"
