Re: Restoration Plug-ins

Craig, in your honor I finally put PSP X2 on my MacBook (replacing X1), and you're right, the 'automatic small scratch remover' looks just like Polaroid D&S!

Re: Restoration Plug-ins

As a Mac user I never gave PSP any thought over the years, but since running Windows on Intel Macs and receiving the last few versions of PSP for promotion on my website, I must say I'm very impressed with it--especially for the price ($79!).

While I was in Windows I also spent more time with Filter Forge and was reminded how absolutely cool it is, with thousands of unique filters to play with and modify at will.

Re: Restoration Plug-ins

Does Polaroid dust and scratch still exist? I can't find it anywhere. I'm getting redirected to polaroid.com all the time....

Re: Restoration Plug-ins

You can download the Mac version from my server here (3.3 megs). IIRC it's both the standalone and plug-in.

My advice is to use it on a separate copy of your image (not an upper layer initially; it doesn't like layers) and drag the treated copy onto the original as an upper layer, then erase through the treated layer to remove any weird processing artifacts.

Re: Restoration Plug-ins

Oh-oh! ;-)

I did a bit of Googling and confirmed there was a Windows version, but of course can't find it. Maybe another member has an archived copy.
